First and foremost, you're someone with a genuine passion for the job and a hunger to learn. But this list will make us even happier:
- You have a diploma in Dental Hygiene or a certificate as a Dental Assistant (or you’re no stranger to working between molars and incisors)
- Experience in orthodontics is a nice bonus, but not a must
- You’re social, empathetic, and a good communicator
- You're comfortable with software (no worries, we don’t expect you to be an IT expert)
- You’re a fast learner and can adapt easily in a dynamic environment
- You’re fluent in Dutch (a necessity to put our patients at ease).
- Speak a bit of French? Bonus points!
- Can you handle our sense of humor? Even better!
Assisting, organizing… and having fun - that’s what you do
As a dental hygienist/chairside assistant, you're an essential pair of hands and brains in our practice. Your tasks include:
- Assisting the orthodontist during treatments (you’ll be their right hand - literally)
- Preparing and organizing the treatment room (efficient, hands-on multitasking)
- Sterilizing instruments
- Performing intraoral scans and taking clinical photos (yes, you get to use our high-tech gear)
- Advising patients on oral hygiene
